They’re not exactly like real Haribo sweets, because if they were they wouldn’t be just 1.5 syns for the whole batch now would they!? Instead they’re more like extra firm jelly, coupled up with some slightly less firm jelly.
Tools You’ll Need
To make these *ALMOST* Syn Free Haribo Style Sweets you don’t need any fancy equipment. I simply made these in a square Tupperware container and sliced with a knife once they were set.
Ingredients
- 1 Sachet Hartleys Sugar Free Jelly (I used the raspberry one)
- 2 Sachets Powdered Gelatine
- 160g Fat Free Yogurt
- 1/2tsp Vanilla Extract
Instructions
- Mix your jelly and gelatine with half a pint of boiling water until all of the crystals have dissolved.
- Pour two thirds of your mixture into a Tupperware container and put it in the fridge to begin setting (this took about 15 minutes for me).
- Mix the rest of the jelly mix with the yogurt and vanilla extract.
- When the jelly mix in the fridge has begun to set, pour the yogurt mix on top and put it back in the fridge to set.
- Remove it from the fridge and cut it into squares. Enjoy!

Can You Make Vegetarian Slimming World Haribo Sweets?
I often get asked whether people can make these vegetarian. In their current format, this recipe is not vegetarian as gelatin is not vegetarian. However, you are able to buy vegetarian gelation!
To make this recipe suitable for vegetarians you must make sure that all of the ingredients you use are certified vegetarian including the jelly and yogurt. To ensure a good result, please make sure you adjust the quantity of gelatin used according to your packet instructions as it may differ from normal gelatin.
